Well...I'm Back....and exhausted!!!!.....

I have survived the the Colac 18th Annual Garden expo last weekend!

and we had an ABSOLUTE ball!!

The 4 weeks leading up to it was stressful as I caught the dreaded flu bug and didn't achieve much at all for the first couple of weeks!.... and as I had no idea what to take and how much...I panicked with 2 weeks to go... and I just sewed and sewed...... late into the night and a few early mornings! and I am so glad that I did because everything was SOOOO popular.

We arrived on the Friday night and set up the stall...then headed off for some girlie time!.... Early morning brekkie at Maccas then off the the Expo which started at 10.00am and by the time it finished at 4.00pm and we packed up...
I think that we were both ready for home!

I did remember my camera and even remembered to take some photos!

This is the stall on the Friday night when we arrived.......

My friend Sue unpacking!

Starting to look like a stall.......

Aren't these cute!! Little Cupcake Tote bags.....
and they were soooo popular with the little girls that I sold out!

Woohoo!!...I think that we are finished.....

Yep....finished setting up!! the end result....

It was so much fun to do...and the committee
had such favourable comments...
that we have been invited back again for next year.
At least now I have got 12 months to organise myself....

and I would like to say a quick hello to all the Colac Quilt Guild that I met at the Expo...they are a lovely bunch of ladies and even invited my down for their Exhibition in March....if you get a chance pop it on your calendar and go for a visit.....sounds like fun!

Well my boys have headed off to
Bathurst
for the big race....
so I might go and do some housework!
(did you read sewing!!)!

Happy Quilting

Oh wow Glenda, looks like you had a fabulous time. The table layout looks great and your goodies very pretty. So glad you had a dear friend to help for the day. It makes market day so much fun when you share it with a friend. Well enjoy your housework, and your wee break from the sewing machine. By the looks of things you deserve a long break. Thanks for your visit cutie and yes Rachel is a dream. How blessed I am to have my children. Just love them all so very much. Ok cutie enjoy your night won't you and talk soon I'm sure. ox Ali
